Car recalls can difficult to stay on top of, especially if they affect cars that are a few years older and may have been resold. However, according to recent news sources, an app might make it easier for car owners to stay updated on recalls that affect their safety and the safety of other drivers on the road.
A new software can display recalls that go as far back as 1950. New recalls will be added to the database as they occur as well.
The app displays what has been recalled, but it doesn’t give you a number to call a specialist to handle the issue, and it also doesn’t provide a consequential scenario of what would happen if the problem is not addressed.
However, it will let you know the important information, and from there you can call your local dealer to arrange for a checkup.
The app is $.99 and is made by Xiatron.
