Harley Davidson has issued a recall for their Touring, CVO Touring and Trike Motorcycles from the 2009-2012 model year due to rear-brake light issues, according to recent news sources.
About 250,757 products are affected by this recall. The rear brake light switch is located in a place that may be exposed to a lot of heat from the exhaust system. This may cause the switch to fail to activate the brake light, or to activate it without being switched on, which could increase the risk of a crash.
Harley Davidson will notify owners affected by this recall by the end of October. A free replacement will be provided.
