Prevost Cars has announced a recall for the following vehicles: the VIP45, the X3-45 and the XLII, all of the 2012 model year. The steering gearbox bolts on the 52 recalled units appear to be too long to have been torqued correctly. Over time, the bolts might loosen and this may lead to a decrease in steering, which may cause a crash. The recall begins this month, and repairs should be carried out by dealers for free.
