Teenagers in Chico, California, will be able to take part in bike safety training being offered in a couple weeks at Pleasant Valley High School. The class, called Traffic Skills 101, will combine lecture-based training with practical education where students will actually be able to take bikes out on the pavement. Handling, crash avoidance, maintenance procedures, and obeying the law will be emphasized in the two-day course, which is free for employees and students of the school district.
