Chevy Volt’s sales were at an all-time high last month, but there is some concern over its keyless entry fob causing owners to forget to turn the vehicle off. When the Volt is operating on battery power, the car will stay on until the battery depletes and then the engine will kick in, thereby keeping the car running. A potential safety hazard then occurs should an owner forget the car is still on. GM says it is a standard feature for emergency situations, such as when temperatures require a stopped car to run heat or air conditioning for the passengers inside to remain comfortable.
