A car dealership in Duluth, Georgia is under investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration because it has been alleged that said dealership sold a recalled vehicle. The Nissan Quest is the vehicle in question. It was discovered that 2011 and 2012 model years of the vehicle suffer from an issue wherein if they only have one fourth of their gas tank filled, a stalling hazard is posed. If the NHTSA is able to demonstrate via evidence that a recalled Quest had been sold to a customer, legal proceedings could follow. Dealers are barred from selling recalled vehicles without repairs to customers.
