An editorial out of New Jersey stresses the importance of not driving while distracted come Halloween time. Although the activity is dangerous at any time of the year, the threat becomes even more readily apparent when you know that loads of kids will be out and about in a low visibility environment. Pedestrians, children included, are being told to use a flashlight so that they can be seen by drivers, and motorists are asked not to drive while intoxicated or when submitting to some type of distraction.
