As part of National Teen Driver Safety Week, Mercedes Benz recently dropped in to nearby Fairfax High School to teach teenagers the dangers of distracted driving. Students were allowed to get behind the wheel of a Mercedes on a closed course. An instructor and classmates also piled into the vehicle, and between the conversations of others and the loudness of the music, the ease of losing focus on the road became readily apparent. Other things like texting and eating were also discouraged.
