In Grampian, Scotland, the Aberdeen City Council and Transport Scotland are attempting to improve motorcycle safety through an initiative called Operation Zenith. Signs will be erected along roads warning motorcyclists to take the necessary precautions whenever they head out. Officials are concerned that bikers will be out in greater numbers to take advantage of the last warm days before winter, and they want to reduce the number of accidents, which have risen since 2011.
