Dodge Avenger and Chrysler 200 vehicles of the 2013 model year are being recalled by Chrysler. A total of 1,785 automobiles are thought to be affected by the recall, which was issued because of the possibility that the vehicles could contain a fuel tank assembly with a broken control valve. This issue with the gas tank could cause the vehicles to sustain a fuel leak, which then poses a fire risk. The defect could also force the vehicles’ engines to stall while being driven, which might in turn lead to some type of a collision. Next month, the recall should start up, and owners will hear from Chrysler if they are in possession of an affected vehicle. An inspection and replacement service will be conducted for free by dealers.
