The Salt Lake City, Utah-based Easton Technical Products has announced the recall of four sizes of Easton Axis arrows. 22,500 arrows in total are thought to be affected by the recall, and each would have been available from various sporting goods stores between this past February and May. When someone looses one of these carbon composite projectiles, it’s in danger of breaking and striking persons in the vicinity. That could be either the archer or anyone else around. Thankfully, no such incidents have been reported at this time, and to ensure that continues, owners should not use these arrows. Instead, they should get in touch with the company to learn how to obtain new units.
