Last week, numerous refrigerated products were recalled by the Beaverton, Oregon-based Reser’s Fine Foods due to a possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The recall affected myriad ready-to-eat products under a number of brands available across the country. Now, the company has announced an expansion of that recall. The recall affects those products that hailed from a food facility in Topeka, Kansas, and consumers can identify whether or not their items come from that plant by looking out for the number “20” as a plant code. No one has reported suffering an illness in association with these products at this point, and to guard against that threat in the future, owners are being asked to throw out or bring back the food.
