Baby rattles are being recalled by the Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Manhattan Group because of a potential choking threat. The recall pertains to 12,400 Quixel baby rattles under the Manhattan Toy brand that were sold around the country and in Canada between September 2011 and this past October. These products have arches that are in danger of breaking, thus exposing a small detached part that a child could choke on. Four breakages without injury have already been reported, and to prevent future mishaps, parents are being advised to take these rattles away from their kids. A refund will be given to those who bring the items back to the store.
