Tiguan automobiles of the 2009 through 2011 model years have been recalled by Volkswagen Group of America because of an issue that could compromise other motorists’ ability to spot the vehicles. 62,155 automobiles could be affected by this issue, wherein the fuse holder involved with the exterior lights is in danger of melting. When this occurs, said lights could be diminished, and thus it becomes far more difficult to see the vehicle. This could contribute to a crash, especially at night or amid inclement weather conditions. Owners should hear from Volkswagen once the recall starts this month, and those owners can then obtain a new fuse from dealers at no cost.
