Butternut Squash & Creamed Spinach Gratin under the Trader Joe’s brand is being recalled by the Vernon, California-based Huxtable’s Kitchen because of the potential for the products to contain an item other than what is purported by the label. Because this corn-based item in question would contain eggs and wheat without the label outlining these ingredients, persons who are allergic to those substances could face a serious reaction. The recall affects one lot that contains a Use By date of December 13. The items were sold in California and three other states, and persons concerned about their safety should bring the products back to Trader Joe’s.
