There’s still some time left for National Burn Awareness Week, so we’d like to bring you some final tips as related by a new guide put out by the state of Massachusetts. Yesterday, we focused on how to keep your kitchen safe, and while many of the insights on hand do indeed examine that, there are other ways to prevent burns. Your water heater, for instance, can burn you if you’re not careful, but you can do yourself and your family a huge favor by not letting it be set higher than 120. When you’re preparing a bath for your child, make sure to let the water run cold for a little bit first before slowly increasing the temperature.
