Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP attorneys Brian Panish and Kevin Boyle have been named to the 2017 Irish Legal 100. Founded in 2008, Irish Legal 100 is an annual compilation of some of the most accomplished and distinguished lawyers of Irish descent, chosen from law firms, law schools, the judiciary and industry from across the country. This the second year of recognition for both PSBR partners who also received the honor in 2016.
On October 26, 2017, Mr. Panish traveled to our nation’s capital of Washington D.C. where he and fellow Irish Legal 100 honorees were recognized at a formal reception hosted by the Ambassador of Ireland to the United States. Additional honorees included, but were not limited to, Neil Gorsuch, Associate Justice to the Supreme Court; John Sullivan, Deputy Secretary of State; Dean William Treanor, Georgetown Law; Michael A. Kelly of Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, John Roberts.
Mr. Panish’s grandmother Maryellen Kiernan Murphy was a native of Co. Longford and his grandfather, Bernard Ambrose Murphy, hailed from Co. Westmeath. Mr. Panish is a member of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick and the Irish American Bar Association.
Mr. Boyle, whose great-great-grandfather emigrated from Ireland in 1821, is also a member of the Irish American Bar Association.
In September 2017, PSBR attorneys Patrick Gunning and Ryan Casey were also named to the list of Irish Legal 100: Irish Rising Stars which is comprised of lawyers under 40 years of age and of Irish descent who are achieving great results in their legal careers.
