Attorney Brian Panish ’75 has been honored by St. John Bosco High School for his extraordinary personal and philanthropic commitment to the mission of his alma mater at the 2018 Braves Gala on Saturday, April 28. The “Celebrate the Bosco Man” event was held on-campus and recognized the accomplishments of St. John Bosco’s exceptional students, faculty and staff.
More than 350 friends, former classmates and alumni attended the Braves Gala, the highest attendance in two years, and enjoyed dinner and dancing, as well as a video presentation highlighting Mr. Panish’s exceptional work throughout his high school and professional careers. Additionally, guests raised $66,470 for the fund-a-need program supporting the restoration of The Oratory — making it the highest grossing campaign with the event program in the seven year history of the event.
In November 2017, Mr. Panish attended a groundbreaking ceremony and prayer dedication in preparation for St. John Bosco High School’s new $7.2 million stadium and football field where he was also recognized as a lead donor. It was a visit to Mr. Panish from St. John Bosco president Dennis Mulhaupt and head football coach Jason Negro that kickstarted fundraising for the new stadium and football field that is expected to be completed by the 2018 football season.
