Pupil Transportation Cooperative, and attorneys Brian Panish, Rahul Ravipudi, and Robert Glassman are also among the 2018 finalists for the CAOC’s top annual award, Consumer Attorney of the Year.

Deborah Chang will serve as moderator at the Keynote Lunch, co-sponsored by Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP/Quest Settlements and featuring American Environmental Attorney, Author and Activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. who will present on Environmental Issues and the Monsato Case from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.

At 2:20 p.m., Cesar Garcia and Maria Lopez will present “Case Files On The Go And 10 Pitfalls For Paralegals To Avoid Prior To Trial: A Case Study Of A Recent Trial” and “Investigation And Evidence Gathering Process; One of the Most Essential Stages During The Personal Injury Case Process,” at Paralegal Panel – Track 2 session. Topics include “A Task In Unburying: An Attorney’s Perspective” presented by Tamarah Prevost, Cotchett Pitre & McCarthy, LLP; and “Minor’s Compromise” presented by Shann Martin, Taylor & Ring. Brian Robbins of Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger will serve as moderator for this session.
Beginning at 3:30 p.m., Rahul Ravipudi will present “Tried And True (What Are Some Of The Good Starting Points For Various Types Of Cases)” at the Rules of the Road session. Yoshiaki C. Kubota, Kubota & Craig, PC will serve as moderator and additional topics include “Getting There (How Do You Develop Your Rules)” presented by Craig Peters, Altair Law LLP and “Weaving It In (How Do You Use Your Rules Throughout The Case – Voir Dire, Opening, Direct, Cross?)” presented by R. Rex Parris, Parris Law Firm.
