Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP partner Rahul Ravipudi has been appointed to serve as Public Entity Plaintiffs’ Co-Lead Counsel representing public entities, including school districts, in the Judicial Council Coordination Proceeding against electronic cigarette maker Juul Labs. The leadership appointment is detailed in a Case Management Order signed by Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Ann I. Jones on February 18, 2020.

Serving alongside Mr. Ravipudi is Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP’s co-counsel in litigation against JUUL Labs, Baron & Budd shareholder John Fiske. Together, as Co-Lead Counsel for Public Entities, Mr. Ravipudi and Mr. Fiske will share the responsibilites of prosecuting the public entity cases only, including but not limited to, appearing at periodic court-notice hearings, sign and file all pleadings related to the action, coordinate with the litigating public entities in scheduling settlement discussions and discovery, setting agendas, entering into stipulations, and in other necessary interactions with defense counsel, as well as liase with Private Plaintiffs Lead Counsel and Liaison Counsel and Defendants Counsel on all matters.
