BRIAN PANISH NAMED AMONG 2025 LEADING COMMERCIAL LITIGATORS BY DAILY JOURNAL

Posted on February 5, 2025

For the third consecutive year, the Daily Journal publication has named Brian J. Panish as one of the Leading Commercial Litigators in its annual supplement. The 2025 edition honors 98 of the “top performing bet-the-company litigators from across the country.”

The profile featuring Mr. Panish highlights his upcoming trial in a case involving a child who swallowed a button battery from an air conditioner remote control and the firm’s work on the Maui Fire Cases where he and his colleagues represent hundreds of people and businesses who have filed suit against the utilities believed to be at fault for the wildfires that killed at least a hundred people and destroyed the historic town of Lahaina.

Mr. Panish also discusses PSR’s dedication to helping those who were affected by the Eaton Fire.

“The fire was horrible, but we’re trying to help the best we can,” he told the Daily Journal. “We believe Southern California Edison was involved. We’ve signed up hundreds.”

Also highlighed in the article about Mr. Panish’s work is a recent $31 million settlement with a school district for a high school football player who suffered a traumatic brain injury due to an improperly maintained football field. The caser settled just before trial.
