Bernadette M. Bolan

Bernadette M. Bolan is a trial attorney at Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP with experience representing clients in state and federal courts in a wide variety of matters. She utilizes her prior experience litigating complex corporate disputes to represent plaintiffs in consumer fraud class actions and product defect cases. Her current practice also focuses on championing individuals who have suffered catastrophic injuries and sexual abuse.
Dedicated to helping clients through every step of obtaining justice, Ms. Bolan is also experienced in prelitigation and post-trial advocacy. She has successfully upheld several verdicts on appeal for her clients, totaling over $20 million and has two published Court of Appeal opinions in her clients’ favor.
Ms. Bolan’s pro bono work includes assisting members in underserved communities with completing deferred action for early childhood arrival (DACA) applications, assisting low income residents at senior living health care facilities with drafting wills and advanced healthcare directives, and obtaining temporary restraining orders for victims of domestic violence.
Ms. Bolan received a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology and Archaeology, and a Master’s Degree in Anthropology from The George Washington University. She received her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School’s prestigious two year SCALE program, where she participated as both an oralist and brief writer on the Moot Court team. During her 2L year, she wrote an amicus brief accepted by the Supreme Court of the United States in Ohio v. Clark.
An active member in both the Consumer Attorneys Association of California (CAALA) and the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), Ms. Bolan is also a member of California Lawyers for the Arts, the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, and multiple local bar associations.
