Alec Clark
Alec Clark is a trial attorney at Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP and focuses his practice on catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, and dangerous condition cases throughout California and Nevada. Mr. Clark and his trial team have resolved dozens of cases for more than seven-figures, including numerous eight-figure cases.
In Benardout v. Gralitzer, Mr. Clark, firm partner Spencer Lucas, and attorney Marguerite Sanvictores obtained a $200,000,000 judgment, signed by an LA Superior Court Judge, for the family of a 24-year-old man who was killed by a drunk driver while standing on a sidewalk in West Hollywood.
In Martinez v. Harman Fitness LLC, after seven days of trial, Mr. Clark and Spencer Lucas reached a $5,000,000 settlement on behalf of a mother whose 22 year-old son passed away from a cardiac event while exercising in a commercial fitness facility. As part of the settlement agreement, Mr. Clark and Mr. Lucas negotiated terms that ensured all staff members in the dozens of fitness facilities owned by the defendant would be fully CPR and AED certified.
Other notable results include a $29,000,000 settlement for a family that was struck head-on in their vehicle, a $22,000,000 settlement on behalf of a motorcyclist who suffered an amputation and traumatic brain injury, and a $20,000,000 settlement for a motorcyclist struck by a wheel that detached from a moving semi-truck.
Mr. Clark received his law degree from the University of San Diego where he was awarded the School of Law Honor Scholarship and was a member of the National Trial Team. He began his career at Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP as a law clerk and also spent a semester of law school at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California. Mr. Clark earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder and is an avid fan of the Buffs.
Licensed to practice in both California and Nevada, Mr. Clark serves on the Board of the CAOC New Lawyers Division, and is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and the American Association for Justice. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis and basketball, and traveling.
