Andrew Schrader
Andrew Schrader is a dedicated trial lawyer who has helped his clients recover more than $400 million from some of the largest companies in the world. Since joining Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP, he has focused his practice on litigating complex personal injury and wrongful death actions.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Schrader had significant success litigating on behalf of plaintiffs against powerful institutional defendants, including:
- Earning substantial settlements for the benefit of thousands of victims of the Woodbridge Ponzi scheme through litigation against the Ponzi scheme’s former professional advisors
- Securing a favorable settlement for his client during deliberations after a six-week jury trial in a long-running lender-liability case
- Representing a class of Prius drivers against Toyota in an automotive defect class action
- Delivering a $15.8 million jury verdict against Toyota on behalf of a Southern California dealer
In addition to his work representing plaintiffs, Mr. Schrader has extensive prior experience representing government entities. This experience has given him insights into the special issues for plaintiffs seeking to recover for harms caused by government entities.
Mr. Schrader graduated from the University of Iowa, College of Law, with the highest distinction. Following law school, he clerked for the Honorable William C. Bryson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
He is a member of the State Bar of California, the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, and the Century City Bar Association.
