Trevor Weitzenberg
Trevor Weitzenberg is a trial attorney at Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP, specializing in representing individuals who have been victims of serious wrongdoing. His practice includes catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, and premises liability cases throughout California and Nevada.
In 2023, Mr. Weitzenberg was a member of the trial team that obtained a landmark $46,475,112.33 jury verdict for a beginning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu student who suffered a catastrophic spinal cord injury while sparring with a Del Mar Jiu-Jitsu Club instructor who performed a technique on the young man which rendered him an incomplete quadriplegic. As a result of his work on this matter, Mr. Weitzenberg was named a recipient of the 2024 California Lawyer Attorney of the Year (CLAY) Awardpr, presented to a select group of attorneys throughout the state “for achievements with a significant impact on public policy, the law, the profession, or a particular practice area.”
Mr. Weitzenberg received his law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law where he graduated cum laude and served as the Co-Chair for the moot court competition team. While in law school, he competed in several national moot court competitions. Prior to that, Mr. Weitzenberg graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in political science.
Originally a native of Santa Rosa, California, Mr. Weitzenberg now resides in Los Angeles and is a member of the State Bar of California and State Bar of Nevada, He is also a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) and Consumers Attorneys of California (CAOC) where he serves on the New Lawyers Division Board. In his free time, Mr. Weitzenberg enjoys playing basketball, playing golf, reading science fiction, and rooting for Bay Area sports teams.
