Dustin Thordarson
Dustin Thordarson is a trial attorney at Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP where he represents individuals in complex personal injury, wrongful death, and product defect cases. Since 2021, he has secured over $100 million in settlements and verdicts for his clients.
As a bilingual Los Angeles native and graduate of Loyola High School, Mr. Thordarson’s roots in the community run deep. He comes from a large family of eleven siblings, giving him a unique perspective on the importance of family bonds and supporting others. His fluency in Spanish allows him to directly serve and advocate for Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring clear communication throughout the legal process.
After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a double major in Political Science and Spanish Linguistics, Mr. Thordarson earned his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in 2014, graduating in the top 20% of his class.

McNeill v. Lithia Motors Inc.: The 89th largest verdict in California in 2021 in which an auto dealership claimed an employee stole a vehicle for a personal errand and was involved in a high-speed automobile collision. Following an eight-day jury trial involving, a Ventura County jury awarded $1,766,522.
Kokonis v. Xerox: A Los Angeles County jury awarded a verdict of $1,880,740, which ranked as the 40th largest verdict in California for 2022.
Mr. Thordarson balances his legal career with his role as a father to four young children. He actively participates in his community by coaching youth sports teams and supporting the PTA at Kester Elementary School, where his wife Ellen serves as Vice President.
Throughout his career, Mr. Thordarson has focused exclusively on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases, handling matters involving burns, amputations, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries of many kinds and brain injuries.
