Joe O’Hanlon

Joe O’Hanlon is an attorney at Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP and focuses his practice on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases in California.

Mr. O’Hanlon earned his J.D. from Southwestern Law School, where he served as Chair of the Board of the Trial Advocacy Honors Program, as a staff writer for the Journal of International Law, and as a teaching assistant to Professor Hila Keren. Mr. O’Hanlon received numerous distinctions during law school including the CALI Excellence for the Future Award, the Bluebook Award, and semi-finalist honors in his first-year intramural trial advocacy competition.

Mr. O’Hanlon began his career at Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP as a summer clerk. He also clerked in the White Collar Crime Division of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and externed for the Honorable Michelle C. Kim at the Los Angeles County Superior Court during his studies.

Mr. O’Hanlon is a member of the State Bar of California, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, the Consumer Attorneys of California, the American Association for Justice, and the Irish American Bar Association. He also currently serves on the board of the Nickel Club, Southwestern Law School’s alumni association for recent graduates.

Originally from Davis, California, Mr. O’Hanlon holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
