At trial, the jury will be asked to decide whether the defendants negligently hired, retained or supervised Conrad Murray, the doctor who administered a fatal dose of the anesthetic drug propofol to Michael Jackson on June 25, 2009. Dr. Murray was later convicted of involuntary manslaughter in connection with Michael Jackson’s death. The trial began on April 29, 2013 and is expected to last for several months.
